Le Sallay International Academy is a newly established, English language private middle school whose innovative educational model blends online learning and boarding school. Each semester begins with a three week session at Chateau le Sallay, located near Nevers, France in the Burgundy region. Students learn in an intensive environment at Chateau le Sallay, then head separately to their respective homes for online learning. At the end of the trimester, students reconvene at Chateau le Sallay for a closing session of intensive learning and assessment.

Le Sallay International Academy is seeking to hire one new faculty member in Art and Art History, full time position to begin in fall 2019 (September). Part time employment for curriculum development and team building purposes to begin immediately upon hiring, and will last until full time position begins.
Relocating to teach at Le Sallay is unnecessary; our teachers run the online portion of their courses from wherever in the world they live. Travel to and from Chateau le Sallay is covered by the school, along with room and board for the duration of the in-person learning session.
B.A and M.A. in art history, art education, or related field
Ability to travel and attend all school sessions at Chateau le Sallay (travel expenses paid by school)
High speed internet connection for holding online classes
Ph.D. in related field
Experience teaching middle school ages (10-14)
Comfortable teaching in an international, multilingual context
