Latin School of Chicago is seeking a Spanish speaking substitute for a short-term assignment from February 19 through March 9, 2019 and from April 1 through April 19, 2019. The teacher will cover four sections of higher level Spanish, including literature, in the Upper School. An outline of learning objectives and lesson plans will be provided by the regular classroom teacher. Duties beyond the classroom will include writing brief narrative comments for each student, attending a occasional student advisory meetings, and taking attendance for advisees during all-school gatherings. The ideal candidate will have Advanced level proficiency in Spanish and experience working with high-school age students.
