Riverdale seeks a full-time learning specialist, working on our Learning Research Team. The position includes direct work with students, both those with documented learning differences and those who desire extra help. An important part of the LRT's mission also includes working with faculty on best practices for teaching and keeping up to date (and helping keep others up to date) on effective pedagogy. The hire will work with a team of five learning specialists, each of whom specializes in working with a particular age group, though there is some flexibility within that system. The School seeks diversity in its faculty, staff, and student body. In admissions and employment policies and practices, in financial aid and loan programs, and in all its educational programs, Riverdale does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, and any other protected categories under applicable law. Interested and qualified candidates should apply by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Riverdale is excited to see candidates from a variety of different backgrounds and experiences.
