The Assistant Director of Admission at Fort Worth Country Day reports to the Director of Admission and assists with all aspects of admission, new student enrollment, enrollment management and retention of students. In addition to promoting a positive community perception of Fort Worth Country Day and a knowledge of the School’s purpose, mission, core values and inclusivity statement to the internal and external community, the Assistant Director of Admission is responsible for recruiting, assessing and initially integrating new students into the FWCD community. Willingness to learn about the School, its curriculum and admission policies for all grades is essential. The position focuses on admission for grades JK-12. It is a 12-month position with benefits, including weekend and evening responsibilities, as well as some events during the summer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Building relationships with prospective families.
Meeting weekly with the Admission Team to review calendars, appointments and to plan upcoming events.
Attending faculty meetings and meeting regularly with grade-level teams.
Providing immediate response, follow-up and record keeping of daily inquiries.
Participating in annual admission-related conferences.
Have or develop the capacity to manage the tuition assistance/enrollment management process.
Participating in brainstorming, design and marketing sessions to define annual and long-term goals aimed at encouraging prospective families to seek admission to the School, as well as increasing positive public perception of the overall program.
Coordinating the Admission Student Ambassador Program.
Scheduling and conducting guided campus tours for prospective parents.
Visiting “feeder schools”.
Assisting in the planning and coordination of all admission and Open House events and any prospective parent or student programs.
Planning and implementing campus day visits for prospective students.
Preparing for and serving as supervisor/proctor for admission testing.
Assisting in the compilation of admission folders and reading all files individually to record opinions regarding admission.
Serving as a member of the Admission Committee to review grade level admission decisions.
New Student Integration:
Assisting in planning new student receptions.
Introducing new students to FWCD faculty in each division by compiling a biography on each student.
Energetic and confident, with a proven track record as a flexible, highly collaborative individual with strong interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation and computer skills.
Ideal candidates will have a positive, approachable demeanor.
Experience with independent school environment preferred.
