Resident/Teaching Assistants (TAs) are the backbone of the (HS)2 program because they interact with students on every level and in every setting. (HS)2 is currently hiring male RAs/TAs to work in the boys’ dorms and provide academic assistance in mathematics classrooms. TAs assist lead teachers in the classroom five days per week, up to two hours per day, and support students in study hall three nights per week. TAs live in a dormitory room with another teaching assistant (sharing bathroom facilities with students) and are on duty in the dorm three nights and mornings per week, and three full weekends during the summer session. Responsibilities also include chaperoning students during off-campus activities and transporting students in a 14-passenger vehicle. Successful TAs have a strong academic background, a high level of stamina and compassion for others.
2019 Dates: New faculty, including all TAs, will arrive on campus Tuesday, June 18 and depart July 27-29. (HS)2 third-year students will arrive on campus Saturday, June 22 for a leadership seminar, and first and second-year students will arrive on Monday, June 24. All students depart campus on Saturday, July 27.
