All Saints Episcopal School seeks an innovative Intermediate/Middle School (Grades 5-8) science teacher to inspire students with lessons and activities that encourage curiosity, exploration and problem-solving. The candidate should have a passion for science and the professional skills to use an inquiry-based approach to teaching scientific principles. Teachers at All Saints are expected to have a strong commitment to the students, working collaboratively with their colleagues to plan curriculum to support personal growth and development. The ideal candidate should:
A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in science or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred
Preferred three years of teaching experience, ideally in an independent school environment
A passion for working with children, while demonstrating knowledge of best practices as an innovator
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A mastery of developmentally-appropriate instructional strategies
Creative and innovative skills at employing technology in the classroom
Enthusiasm for working in an academic environment that ignites passions to impact our world
