All Saints Episcopal School seeks an accomplished and innovative educator to serve as the Upper School History/ Social Studies teacher. The candidate should have a command of the subject matter, with the skills to teach a range of history topics and electives, including Advanced Placement. Additional opportunities for involvement in the All Saints community include leading an advisory, coaching and sponsoring an extracurricular activity.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a Social Studies field with the ability and willingness to teach Social Studies and History courses as needed
Preferred three years of teaching experience, ideally in an independent school environment
A passion for working with students, while demonstrating knowledge of best practices as an innovator
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A mastery of age-appropriate instructional strategies
Enthusiasm for working in an academic environment that ignites passions to impact our world
