The ADHD Summer Treatment Program (STP) at Currey Ingram Academy is interested in enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are currently enrolled in a collegiate field of study related to education. This full-time position presents applicable experience working with children ages 8-12 in multiple settings. The ADHD-STP provides treatment tailored to each child’s individual behavioral and academic difficulties. Staff members will work within the scope of the program to help students better self-regulate, listen attentively, and refine their social skills. Specific, intensive training will take place before camp begins. In addition to receiving internship credit (if applicable), staff members will earn an hourly compensation or a stipend for the summer, depending on the position. The camp runs from June 10 to July 26 (except the week of July 1), five days a week.
