Wilbraham & Monson Academy, a coeducational, grade 6-PG Independent School in Western Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Admission for their International markets. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, are a must. Highly motivated, positive & upbeat character along with the ability to work independently and as a Team is essential.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Present the Academy’s programs and community life to prospective students and families on and off campus with the goal of yielding student applicants.
Provide excellent customer service to families, consultants and students, internally and externally.
Travel internationally to foster and maintain relationships with WMA consultants and to meet directly with families and students, to ensure continued interest and diversity through out the world.
Lead a department of six in the absence of the Director.
While on Campus, schedule, meet and interview international visitors and domestic visitors as needed, in person and via skype. Follow up consistently on all international inquiries, applicants and acceptances.
Act as a vital member of the Admission office Team. In conjunction with the Team, active in planning and coordinating on and off campus events, such as open house, shadow days, revisit days, parent receptions, ect..
Through research with contacts, actively keep informed of current independent school trends internationally and share the same with the Admission Team to be proactive in any enrollment challenges.
Be an active member in the WMA community.
