We are searching for innovative educators who are eager to be challenged! Kingsley is seeking an Elementary STEM Teacher to join our program. This is an exciting opportunity to teach at one of Boston’s premier independent early childhood and elementary schools. We seek world-class educators who are looking to contribute to a progressive, integrated curriculum informed by Montessori pedagogy and principles. As a STEM Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and teaching integrated Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics classes and for developing strong partnerships with parents and colleagues, particularly the Elementary Science Teacher. Other important duties include advancing your professional and personal growth and fulfilling administrative duties. All teachers attend regular meetings, observe, advise, and serve as a mentor and role model for other faculty in the areas of curriculum management, classroom schedules, record keeping, student needs, and the classroom environment. Co-Curricular Teachers report to the Chief Academic Officer.

-BA/BS degree required and MA degree preferred
-Minimum of three years teaching experience
-Experience with a variety of instructional methods and multi- age learning environments
-Experience implementing a balanced mathematics program, preferably Singapore Math
-Ability to work collaboratively with faculty to enhance curriculum and community
-Commitment to meeting the needs of each child
-Commitment to professional growth and best practices in education
-Familiarity with and/or an interest in learning more about Montessori pedagogy (American Montessori Society (AMS)/Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching credentials are a plus but are not required)
