Santa Fe Preparatory School seeks an Upper School English Teacher (American Literature, Grade 11) eager to inspire students and join a professional, dynamic, and collaborative faculty. Primary job responsibilities for full-time teachers include teaching 4-5 sections of classes. In addition, all full-time teachers lead a community service group, participate in grade-level retreats at the beginning and end of the year, advise a student club, actively contribute as a member of a grade-level team, and serve as advisor to 6-10 students per year. Part-time teachers will teach 2-3 sections and have additional responsibilities as well.
All teaching positions begin August, 2019.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in the relevant academic discipline is required. A master’s degree and three years or more of teaching experience at the secondary school level is preferred. Preferred candidates will also have experience guiding/mentoring students outside the classroom.
