Santa Fe Preparatory School seeks a full-time librarian eager to inspire students and join a professional, dynamic, and collaborative faculty. We are a diverse learning community dedicated to active inquiry and discourse. Authentic relationships, inclusive and creative pedagogy, and deep content are foundational to our purpose.
Primary job responsibilities include: teaching the library curriculum, working with faculty on classroom projects, creating research guides, managing the inter-library loan program, cataloging and processing materials, performing circulation and reference desk duties, and working with the Director and parent volunteers to ensure a positive learning environment for students grades 7-12.
This is a faculty position. All full-time faculty also lead a community service group, participate in grade-level retreats at the beginning and end of the year, advise a student club, and serve as advisor to 6-10 students per year.
To begin August 14, 2019.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in an academic discipline is required; MLS and experience at the secondary school level is strongly preferred.
