If your goal is to instill your love of learning in others, while advancing your own professional growth, this is your chance to join one of Colorado’s most innovative programs.
The Vail Mountain Learning Above & Beyond program (LA&B) is a middle school classroom for the 21st century with innovative elements such as quest-like passion projects, Socratic discussions, and flipped classrooms. You will not see traditional textbooks. Students this year studied the aerodynamics of rocket ships, wrote novels, learned to play the guitar, put artwork into local galleries, and learned to rebuild cars.
We are searching for a guiding teacher to lead a group of 12 students in their pursuit of meaningful educational experiences and the development of their soft skills.
We believe this program will put middle schoolers on a path to make their mark in the universe. Will you join us?
