Pingry seeks a dynamic and intellectually engaged Director of Wellness to join a diverse academic community for the 2019-2020 school year. The major job responsibilities include:
providing expertise and skilled leadership to wellness-related programs and initiatives
coordinating health-related programming and communications within the school community
supporting the integration of wellness throughout curriculum and co- and extra-curricular settings
facilitating collaboration within and across departments and co-curricular programs
promoting an institutional culture of personal wellness

The primary qualifications of the Director of Wellness include:
significant experience as a wellness practitioner or tenure in a similar position
understanding of the intersections of physical, mental-emotional, and social health across the developmental path in young children and adolescents
experience researching, developing, implementing, and evaluating health and wellness programming

Founded in 1861, The Pingry School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Situated on two spacious campuses in Basking Ridge and Short Hills, New Jersey, the school draws students of varied talents and diverse backgrounds from over 100 communities in the central New Jersey region.
