Boulder Country Day (BCD) School is currently seeking a Summer Program Director for their summer programs.

The Summer Program Director’s Role
The Summer Program Director will work in collaboration and coordination with the Head of Summer Programs to implement the strategic vision, planning, communication, and execution of all aspects of BCD’s summer programs. Additionally, the Summer Program Director will work with the Head of the Summer Program to:
Execute programs that delight families
Guarantee all summer program logistics run smoothly
Proactively plan for areas of complexity
Ensure all families and children area satisfied with their BCD Summer Programs experience
Manage summer enrollment – including communication with summer program specialty class instructors
Communicate with enrolled families via email and in person all important aspects of BCD’s Summer Program
Manage all aspects and daily operations of BCD’s summer program
Supervise BCD’s Summer Program Staff
Ensure that BCD’s Summer Program is safe and welcoming
Ensure compliance with all State of Colorado rules and regulations

The ideal candidate for this position must have a background in Early Childhood Education and hold a current Certification in the State of Colorado as a Large Childcare Center Director. In addition, strong judgement, commitment to customer service, and exceptional leadership skills in a school setting are essential. Additionally, candidate should have most, if not all, of the following:
Experience in Colorado as a Large Childcare Center Director
Ability to lead and communicate effectively
Deep sense of personal responsibility for BCD’s Summer Program success
Intellectual curiosity and a growth-mindset
