St. Francis School, Goshen Campus, is searching for a dynamic Lower School Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate for this position will have a BS in Elementary Education or related degree (master’s preferred), a passion for working with Lower School students, a minimum of five years' experience as a Lower School Teacher, an understanding of Independent Schools, and an awareness of differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, the ability and desire to work collaboratively, and dedication to continuously developing and practicing cultural competence in one’s teaching are also essential. Additional responsibilities may include homeroom/advisor duties, academic team coaching, and the ability/willingness to coach athletic teams.
