Jemicy School, which educates talented and bright college-bound students (grades 1-12) with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences, is seeking a full-time educator teaching Lower and Middle school Math curriculum for the 2019-2020 school year. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic teacher with a demonstrated ability to teach mathematics in a way that meets students’ individual needs. Applicant should be adept at utilizing multisensory/hands-on instructional techniques and teaching programs that support a broad range of student learning styles.

A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Elementary Ed., and/or Special Ed. (or a closely related field) is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have a high interest in participating in community activities, have the ability and willingness to coach an athletic team and/or club, possess strong interpersonal skills and be committed to developing successful learners and future productive citizens.
