Kingswood Oxford School is seeking a Data Specialist to join our Advancement Department. This position has significant responsibilities in the areas of: data entry/processing, analysis, research, reporting, and event coordination. It also supports the fundraising and parent/alumni relations areas of the Advancement Department.
The Development Associate will report to the Director of the Annual Fund.
This is a full-time non-exempt 12-month position. This position is subject to evening hours and weekends.
Process and acknowledge all gifts, pledges, pledge payments, stock gifts, matching gifts, memorial gifts, in honor gifts, and other contributions to the School
Maintain and update biographical information in Raiser’s Edge including, but not limited to: new donor records, name and address changes, and coding
Utilize databases to create reports detailing wealth, philanthropy, biographical and business information
Identify new prospects through data mining and segmentation
Support event attendance, registration and coordination
Assist with collecting and editing Class Notes for the KO Magazine
Maintain donor biographical information in Raiser's Edge and Education Edge
Bachelor's degree, and at least two years of experience in nonprofit database management.
Attentiveness to detail
Well-developed computer skills, including experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as constituent relations software such as Raisers Edge.
Must be able to work and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a broad range of internal and external constituents including faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, and friends of the School and work independently, solve problems, handle confidential information, and navigate sensitive situations
