The successful candidate should be familiar with reading/writing workshop model from Teacher's College, Columbia University, and a variety of math programs. Familiarity with responsive classroom or other social/emotional curriculum classroom management program. Must be able to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and other members of the school community and value diversity. Candidate must have at least a 4-year college degree, three years of teaching experience, and an understanding of progressive education practices.
