Work collaboratively with the admissions team in all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment; including fielding questions, scheduling parent and student visits and tours, conducting student interviews, and initiating follow-up communication.
Uses independent judgment to assess the quality of admission candidates and serves as a member of the Admissions Committee to review files, make recommendations, and select candidates for admission.
Utilizes SchoolAdmin, an Admissions CRM, to manage prospect records, including maintaining appropriate notes and communications about student and parent interactions.
Works closely with internal departments including Academics, Advancement, Business, Residential Life, Communications, Athletics, Corps of Cadets, and the Arts to engage prospective families and support enrollment and institutional goals.
Conducts training for Student Ambassadors and supervises Shadow Day campus visits for all prospective Upper School students.
Works to build and maintain relationships with area schools as well as coordinate external recruitment activities for Upper School recruitment at school fairs, parent-sponsored coffees, Open Houses, Preview Days, and other admissions programs.
Assist the Director of Residential Life in the recruitment and admissions process for prospective boarding applicants to include some domestic and international travel.
Serves as liaison to TMI’s Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Parent Ambassadors while implementing strategies to encourage internal and word-of-mouth marketing of TMI.
Collaborates with the Admissions Team in the production of external marketing and recruitment materials.
Incorporates the use of current trends, best practices, data, and quantitative analysis into the overall enrollment strategy.
Organizes and supervises admissions entrance and placement exams: Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) and TMI Placement Testing.
Oversees the organization of the Alkek and Gresham Scholarship programs.
Willing to complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management.

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Three-plus years of relevant professional experience in admissions/recruitment, preferably in an educational setting.
