EHS is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of College Counseling to begin August 15, 2019. The Assistant Director will assume typical college counseling responsibilities of guiding approximately forty students each, from the junior and senior classes, and their families through every aspect of the college process, including writing letters of support for each of student. The position requires someone with energy, enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. The Assistant Director of College Counseling will also have residential life responsibilities, including dorm duty and one season of coaching, or its equivalent. The position requires excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong written and oral communications are essential. The successful candidate will have a master’s degree, as well as a minimum of three to five years of experience in an undergraduate admissions office and independent school college counseling office.
