Administer, manage, and maintain the school’s G Suite product suite.
Administer, manage, and maintain the school’s LMS, Schoology.
Manage, monitor and maintain PowerSchool database
Make requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and data
Ensure database integrity, stability and system availability
Maintain database backup and recovery infrastructure
Maintain and optimize the PowerSchool student information system to meet school needs
Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of database systems by working closely with various O’Dowd constituents
Administration - understand key administrative roles (deans, dragon den, front office, etc.) and ensure that IS needs are supported (responsible use, cyber-bullying, payment systems, etc.).
Academics - work with the academic coordinator and registrar to perform necessary exports from PowerSchool; and the associate principal to help create student and teacher schedules.
Academic Support Programs - continue working with the academic support programs team to ensure all data requirements are met (ECP, academic support plans, etc.)
Admissions - support the database needs of the admissions team to ensure that the inquiry, application, and enrollments requirements are met.
Business Office - work with the business office, CFO, and Director of IT to explore and review potential HR system to streamline our human resource management.
Counseling SAT, PSAT
Collect and interpret data
Report the results to school leadership
Identify patterns and trends in data sets
Collaborate with the leadership of the school to establish needs
Define new data collection and analysis processes
Create a data dashboard that usefully visualizes data and to measure alignment with charism goals
Create data visualizations for admissions, development, academic support
Educational Technology Support
Support and guide school leadership on strategic and operational decisions involving technology infrastructure and enterprise data systems.
Establish and evaluate technology policies, procedures, and processes in areas such as: end-user support, data management, managing e-books
Promote and manage the use of educational technologies (PowerSchool, Schoology, G Suite, BambooHR, Follett Destiny, eBooks, Membean, TurnitIn, etc.)
Collaborate with IT Department to advise administration and assist faculty in selecting hardware, software, and web-based instructional materials.
Digital Signage Administration - Collaborate with the Instructional Technologist to post ads to the Reach system.
Oversee partnership with third-party vendor partners.
Assist in Employee Onboarding/Offboarding by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts.
Ensure that IT infrastructure, hardware, and systems meet end-user needs and are successfully deployed.
Ensure that IT and systems transitional projects are successfully managed.
AP Testing - Provide technology operations and support for AP exams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
