Camp Tel Noar(co-ed) and Camp Pembroke (girls) welcome qualified applicants for the 2019 Head of Water Sports. These key positions are responsible for the overall supervision, and coordination of the waterfront staff, sailing, boating and canoeing, windsurfing, waterskiing programs and schedules; accountability for safety and welfare of the camp community while on the waterfront; recommend purchase of waterfront equipment, maintain inventory, assist with processing waterfront registrations including licenses, and boat permits.
Qualifications: 2 - 5 years experience as Assistant Head of Waterfront, or Waterfront Department Head, such as swimming, at a residential camp; current WSI, Lifeguard Certification, CPR, First Aid, Life Guard Instruction Certification required; proven supervisory experiences and class scheduling; Bachelors degree preferred. Candidates with majors in HPER, education or leisure studies encouraged to apply.

Camp Pembroke, a non-profit Jewish culture camp for girls ages 8 to 15, is now in her eighty-fith season. We continue to provide our campers the opportunities to develop their self-esteem, self-confidence, to find their voices, and to advocate for themselves in our diverse world. Our campers take part in a variety of activity programs including athletics, arts & crafts, campcraft/nature, visual & performing arts, water sports and swim instruction, special events, trips, and inter-camp competition.
