Ransom Everglades School is seeking applications for a full time teaching position in the Athletics & Physical Education Department, beginning in August 2019. In addition to serving as a member of the physical education department, this faculty member will coach two seasons and serve on the team supporting all middle and upper school athletic programs. Additional duties assigned will depend on the experience of the successful candidate. Candidates with experience in volleyball, basketball or soccer, and who can contribute to the distinctiveness of the Ransom Everglades community are especially encouraged to apply. Ransom Everglades faculty members are expected to serve as advisors, participate in department meetings, and be engaged in the life of the school. Independent school teaching is experience is preferred. Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
