Job Summary: To support the mission of the Emery/Weiner School and the Admissions Office by providing administrative assistance to members of the Admissions staff; building relationships with prospective parents and feeder school staff; and assisting with various aspects of the student application and enrollment process.
Manage the flow of inquiries via telephone, email, and US mail.
Maintain and manage the Admissions database and calendar.
Answer telephones, schedule appointments and tours, and direct calls in a professional, courteous, and kind manner.
Manage the Student Ambassador program, including selection and training of new members, staffing school visits and tours, and tracking service hours.
Data entry, organization, and reporting using such programs as Blackbaud and Microsoft Office Suite.
Develop and present professional reports to the Director of Admissions as requested.
Assist with parent volunteer coordination.
Handle special administrative projects as assigned, including but not limited to inventory of admissions materials, large mailings and distribution of marketing materials, archiving files, and internet research projects.
Assist as needed with event coordination for on-campus and off-campus events.
Maintain a professional and neat work environment.
Other projects as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Four year college degree preferred.

Physical Skills and Abilities:
Depending on the assignment, this position frequently involves standing, walking, sitting, and manipulating (lifting, carrying, moving) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds in the course of coordinating work. This position also frequently involves finger dexterity, talking, hearing and visual acuity, and may sometimes involve stooping, kneeling, and crouching in the course of coordinating work.
Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent on the phone and at a computer.
