Gerstell Academy is seeking an inspiring, engaging, and encouraging Middle School English teacher for the 2019-2020 academic year, with leadership experience and the capacity to teach Middle School English. Duties will include teaching the Gerstell Academy Mission, Motto, Leadership Principles and Attributes, teaching English courses, curriculum mapping, serving as a student advisor, and other duties as assigned or needed to develop school programs.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English, have prior teaching experience, and certification is preferred. The desired candidate will be able to teach English as an academic course, and as a vehicle to teach leadership education, critical thinking skills, and character development.
