University School of Jackson seeks an experienced Mathematics Department Chair for employment beginning in the 2019-20 school year. The strongest candidates will have an advanced degree in mathematics, a degree in teaching at the high school level, and a minimum of ten years of high school teaching experience. Candidates must be able to teach all levels, Algebra I through Advanced Placement Calculus. In addition, candidates must enjoy working with adolescents as well as with faculty and possess an exceptional work ethic, strong communication skills, a commitment to collegiality, and a sense of humor.
