Cape Henry Collegiate is seeking a part-time intermediate French instructor in the Upper School, with potential for full-time depending. Strong candidates will be committed to progressive language education and excited about fostering communicative, comprehensible approach to language instruction. As Cape Henry is a national leader in global education, the acquisition of language is an integral component of our vision and we seek individuals who are passionate about instilling a love for French and its application here and abroad. There are opportunities for global partnerships and travel programs to support language acquisition, and we hope to attract an individual interested in leading such opportunities for our students.
Requirements: The candidate must be fluent in French, have a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred, and teaching experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills and a dedication to independent school education are required. Candidates who are also capable of teaching Spanish are encouraged to apply.
