The new science teacher will be an experienced, talented teacher looking for a position where passion and innovation are encouraged and supported.
Faculty in the Upper School teach four sections of science. While the curriculum is in place, faculty are encouraged -- and expected -- to propose new ideas and enthusiastically collaborate with peers in the Department as we continually embrace current pedagogy. Faculty must demonstrate a commitment to inquiry-based science exploration.

Faculty in the Upper School teach four classes, advise a group of 7 – 9 students, and work with students in activities and clubs. A willingness to collaborate with learning specialists in teaching students with language-based learning differences, developing an understanding of the philosophies that drive our Hope Graham Program, and the ability to contribute to the Middle School science team as they develop an exciting curricular redesign are all essential. The best candidates will also demonstrate an ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and be an integral member of the PK – 12 science department.
