This is a vacancy for the 2019-2020 school year. Washington Academy is seeking a highly motivated candidate for our position of History Residential Faculty. This is a ten month position for college graduates who would like to work and live in a private secondary school setting. Residential Faculty will teach classes, live and work as part of our residential staff, and coach or advise a club, activity or sport. As part of their residential compensation Residential Faculty are provided health insurance, dorm housing, all meals, internet, cable TV, and an opportunity to travel on on school trips. Residential Faculty receive college course reimbursement, an opportunity to participate in a teacher orientation and training program and comprehensive professional development opportunities.
A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and a willingness to work towards being certified in Maine.
