Job Summary Concord Academy relies on an extensive network of parents, alumnae/i, and friends to fulfill the mission of the school. In order to establish and sustain these critical relationships, the Advancement and Engagement Office must invest in the ongoing timely collection, maintenance, and utilization of accurate data. Reporting to the Director of Advancement Services and the Gift Entry and Record Management Specialist, the Summer Data Specialist Intern performs a variety of data-oriented tasks in Raiser’s Edge, CA’s alumnae/i, donor and prospect database, which houses approximately 19,000 records. Job Responsibilities ? Perform data entry, data reconciliation and cleanup in the database in preparation for upcoming school year ? Prepare data files for import and global updates ? Perform data integrity checks and follow up with any discrepancies as appropriate ? Scan and input documents and photos into constituent records in database ? Complete research and update constituent records ensuring accurate biographical data ? Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Advancement and Engagement staff as time allows
? Highly detailed oriented ? Comfortable managing multiple priorities and asking for help when needed ? Ability to work independently and manage time effectively ? Proficiency with MS Office especially in formatting and manipulating datasets in Excel ? Ability to seek guidance as appropriate ? Sensitivity to privacy and confidentiality of records ?
