High School Counselor
CGPS is seeking a dynamic, empathetic, competent, experienced, and collaborative Prep School counselor (grades 8-12) to provide guidance to students in all areas of high school life, and assist teachers with suggestions for effective student relations. The candidate will help the Director identify and resolve student issues, needs, and problems, and will also be responsible for creating and teaching an issues-based curriculum on mental health, substance abuse, stress management, sexuality and the effects of social media.
Experience in a similar position required.

Work collaboratively with the department to design and implement a modern, problem-based curriculum.
Be supportive of the CGPS equity, justice and inclusion initiatives.
Meet individually with students for additional support as needed.
Create a positive classroom environment which fosters challenge and support.
