Churchill is looking for a high school psychologist who is collaborative, thoughtful, reflective, and caring. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 6-person mental health team within a vibrant and energetic community of educators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
health and wellness curriculum development and implementation
consultation with teachers and administration
providing parent guidance
co-facilitating monthly parent forum meetings
collaboration with and making referrals to outside treatment providers/ evaluators
serving on the high school admissions team
leading an interdisciplinary team focused on translating neuropsychological test data into classroom interventions
providing professional development to Churchill faculty and professional presentations to the parent community
serving as member of the Churchill School Admissions Committee
serving as an academic advisor to 2-3 students
contributing to IEPs and CSE meetings
Ph.D. or Psy.D, experience working with adolescents, strong interpersonal and clinical skills. Experience working with children with learning disabilities and/or experience with psycho-educational/ neuropsychological testing. Cultural awareness and the ability to connect effectively with diverse populations are paramount. People of color are encouraged to apply.
