Under the direct supervision of the Art Department Head, this position designs the lighting and sound for the Middle and Upper School shows, concerts, performances, and productions. The Technical Production Manager trains student operators, assists the Maintenance Department with sound coordination, assists the Arts Department Head with scheduling. The Technical Production Manager also provides appropriate instruction as part to the Middle School and Upper School Theatre courses.

The successful candidate will have a degree in related Technical Theatre, and a proven record of successful lighting and sound design. They will be expected to share a portfolio at interview.
The candidate will have a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude, an understanding of life in a busy Pre-K through 12 Day School, a record of working with young people, and a proven ability to cope with the stress that comes with production deadlines etc. The position is a ten month position.
