The Park School of Baltimore has an opening for a part-time Lower School Music Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The Lower School Music Teacher teaches general music classes in pre-Kindergarten through Grade 2. The ability to work within a diverse student body and knowledge of multicultural education, particularly within the music curriculum, is essential.
In addition to teaching, the Lower School Music Teacher will attend weekly faculty and department meetings, serve on school-wide committees, and share in regularly assigned duties. The Lower School Music Teacher participates fully in the life of Park’s Lower School as well as a coordinated K-12 Arts Department.

Established in 1989, FACA is supported by a $5.9 million endowment; currently, over 40% of all Park faculty participate annually. Undergraduate degree in Music Education
Advanced degree in Music Education preferred
Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Music Education
Training in early childhood development
Candidates with Orff, Kodaly and/or Dalcroze certification given special consideration.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in curriculum design and implementation as well as a proven ability to differentiate instruction.
