Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Advancement Services Assistant will be responsible for data entry and data integrity of the school’s development database, The Raisers Edge.
This is an hourly position for a maximum of 18 hours per week.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Advancement Office to advance the mission and strategic goals of the school
Maintain Advancement database using Raisers Edge software
Receive, process, and input gifts and pledges into database. Generate cash receipts for Advancement and Business offices
Administer gift receipt and acknowledgement process as overseen by the Annual Giving Manager
Aggregate incoming donor information and ensure records are accurately and regularly updated, including adding new constituents, updating biographical information, noting event attendance, and entering contact reports
Update contact information through return mail, mailing list cleanup, and mass email platform maintenance
Communicate with the various database administrators school-wide to ensure consistency across databases.
In partnership with the Communications Manager, administer various school e-blasts
Staff evening and occasional weekend events and attend early morning meetings as able
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree and an exceedingly high attention to detail. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with development database software.
