Cambridge Montessori School is seeking a part-time School Psychologist to support the students, teachers, and school wide community. The School Psychologist at Cambridge Montessori School will serve students between the ages of 21 months to 14 years old. The School Psychologist reports to the Head of School.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Direct support to students via counseling and social skills groups
Consultation with teachers and parents regarding academic, developmental, and social emotional support
Collaborate with families, faculty and service providers regarding mental health, behavioral and educational concerns of students
Building teachers’ capacity for in class accommodations and social emotional supports
Ensure accurate and appropriate record keeping
Master’s, Ph.D or Psy.D in school psychology is preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience in a K-8 school or equivalent environment
Ability to interpret psychological and neuropsychological/cognitive testing
Knowledgeable of Social Emotional Learning curriculums and experience conducting social skills groups
*The candidate does not need to be Montessori trained.*
