Woodlynde School, located on the Main Line and one of the nation’s leading college prep schools for diverse learners in grades K-12, is hiring for the position of Marketing and Communications Manager. Reporting to the Director of Advancement and member of a 4-person department, this position is responsible for the execution of a comprehensive communications program involving marketing, advertising, and public relations to both internal and external constituencies.
Candidates will be responsible for and must have proven experience with website management and SEO best-practices; social media and email marketing; copy-writing and graphic design; and video and video editing.
Required attributes include exemplary project management skills in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment; comprehensive writing and proof-reading skills; adept verbal and interpersonal skills for working with multiple constituencies; data-driven planning and reporting; and a self-driven, positive, and collaborative work style.
Technology experience to include MS Office; Adobe Creative; Google Analytics; SEO Minion; Moz; Juicr; social media platforms; Hootsuite; Blackbaud or comparable database; and a basic knowledge of HTML.
A minimum of three years of experience in marketing and communications preferred. Familiarity with independent schools and/or non-profits a plus.
