Germantown Friends School is seeking a music educator to teach several Upper School jazz ensembles, the Middle School Jazz Band (in transition to a Concert Band). Additional teaching (depending on applicant’s qualifications) may include some Middle School general music or a Keyboarding class.
The successful candidate will have exceptional woodwind or brass skills, have experience teaching ensembles, and enjoy working with students in all divisions. The candidate will work closely with other music teachers, especially with the directors of large ensembles. A Bachelor of Music in Education or Performance is preferred.
