Ursuline Academy is seeking an experienced educator to serve as the Mathematics Department Chair beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. The Department Chair will teach five sections of mathematics while supporting faculty, overseeing curriculum for grades 6-12, and guiding collaborative work on innovation in teaching and learning that builds on the strength of the department and the program. The Mathematics Department Chair works closely with the Middle and Upper School Principals and other Department Chairs to think strategically about the needs of Ursuline Academy’s overall academic program. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience at the high school or college level including some leadership experiences. All candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic values of our school and an educational philosophy that is aligned with Ursuline Academy’s Portrait of a Graduate.
