The Director of the Media Center will support the academic faculty in developing critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful, ethical researchers and consumers of information. In addition, the Director will collaborate with the academic leadership and technology department to transition the library into a Learning Commons that supports students ages 3-14, and that integrates research and technology skills into classroom curriculum, promotes design thinking, and further develops a Maker Space. The Director shows initiative, upholds the Mission of the school, and communicates well with all constituencies.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, while a Master’s degree is desirable. Experience in Independent School preferred. Salary TBD.
