Brandon Hall seeks a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial independent school admission professional to serve as the Director of Admissions with responsibility for managing all aspects of the admissions funnel: student recruitment, admission, enrollment, marketing, and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven decision maker, an experienced admission and financial aid professional, and an innovator in strategy development and execution. The candidate will also possess an understanding of independent day, boarding, and global schools and the unique value proposition they offer students and families. The successful candidate for this position will be:
Highly relational, connecting warmly with parents, students, and faculty and adept at building strong relationships and partnerships on behalf of Brandon Hall to continue to grow and sustain a diverse and inclusive community; Experienced with the entire range of communications and marketing strategies, brand management, and best practices; Highly knowledgeable of today's admission processes, target marketing, prospect development, and the strategic use of social media and other innovative platforms; Skilled in data collection with capacity for deep analysis, synthesis and reporting out; Self-managed, exceptionally organized and self-directed problem solver who will manage and grow the Admission team's skill, vision and cohesion; Strategic in the awarding of financial aid, merit scholarships, and grants for admitted students.
The ideal candidate will have Admission and Enrollment Management experience, high integrity, a competitive spirit, an engaging disposition and outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree (preferred) in a related field that supports the duties and responsibilities of this position Minimum of 5 years of management-level experience in the Admission function Proven success in Enrollment Management in NAIS, TABS schools Consistent and proven commitment to collaborative leadership, problem-solving and working as a member of the Leadership Team High proficiency in technology, particularly in producing, synthesizing, and analyzing data A genuine sense of humor and interest in all aspects of school life A positive manager and collaborator, understanding how to inspire, motivate, and partner with others in a school community Must be able to travel extensively on behalf of the School A deep understanding of the boarding and day school marketplace
