We are seeking an innovative, collaborative 7th-grade science teacher who possesses a growth mindset and demonstrates a love for the pre-adolescent learner. This full-time position requires candidates who have demonstrated knowledge of biology, chemistry, and physics and familiarity with NGSS science and engineering practices. A successful candidate will teach four sections of science, serve as an advisor for 10-12 students and support a co-curricular activity such as coaching a middle school sport.
An undergraduate degree in Science with coursework in biology, chemistry and physics is required, a graduate degree in science education is preferred. While open to any level of teaching experience, we are especially interested in candidates with middle school or upper elementary teaching experience.
