Kirby School seeks a part-time Visual Arts teacher for 6th and 7th grade for the upcoming 2019-20 school year. The candidate should possess a teaching credential in the field of Art and/or two-plus years of relevant teaching experience in the area of visual arts for the target grades.
We are especially interested in candidates with a strong interest in diversity and inclusion in curriculum development. The ability to teach Honors/AP Art History at the high school level is a plus, but not required. This position would constitute 30% of FTE for middle school visual arts only or 50% of FTE for both middle school visual arts and high school Art History.
