Western Reserve Academy seeks candidates for the role of Associate Director of Major Gifts. The Associate Director will manage a portfolio of alumni and parent leadership gift prospects ($100,000+).
Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for Advancement, and working collaboratively and strategically with the Head of School, colleagues in the Advancement Office, faculty, senior administrators, trustees and volunteers, the Associate Director will attract resources essential to maintaining, and building upon, Western Reserve Academy's distinctive strengths.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5-7 years of successful fundraising experience in development or advancement fields. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience identifying, cultivating, soliciting and closing major gifts. Ideal candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of fundraising databases. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; independent initiative. Ability to actively manage 100+ prospect relationships, set and meet annual goals for prospect activity, touch points, solicitations and closures. Travel throughout the United States is required.
