troubleshooting our network as she /he is with helping a Kindergartener tie their shoe or guiding an 8th grader through the 3D printing process.
This position reports to the CFO/COO. This person will be responsible for monitoring and assisting the CFO/COO with the management of our network, and assisting the help desk manager with providing technology support for the administration, faculty, staff, and students of The Cathedral School. This position will also collaborate with the Director of
Innovation and Educational Technology regarding curricular technology needs as time allows.
What Your Day Will Include:
Monitoring the school’s infrastructure for optimal performance
Managing and monitoring data backup systems
Working with teachers and students to optimize technology use for teaching and learning
What Your Day Might Include:
Assisting with A/V setup as needed for school assemblies, faculty/committee meetings, and special events
Managing our JAMF systems
Backing up the Help Desk Manager regarding help desk tickets
Working with the CFO/COO, Director of Innovation and Educational Technology, and others to update the Technology plan for the school
Serving as a liaison with vendors for warranty repairs and software support
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, printing, interactive whiteboard, and A/V problems in a predominately Apple environment

LAN/ WAN administration experience on Macintosh platform is preferable
Preferable experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Network Protocol: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN
Knowledge of switching/routing technologies; specifically, Cisco & HP (Cisco Certification a plus)
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
