Rye Country Day School is seeking a Manager of Stewardship and Engagement to join the Development and Alumni Relations team. The Manager of Stewardship and Engagement will be responsible for the implementation and customization of stewardship and donor recognition strategies, as well as events related to these efforts. This position will report to the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs.
Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct prospect research, which includes prospect identification and analytics
Develop and manage a system for endowment and impact reports
Plan, coordinate, and execute all Development and Alumni Relations events
Analyze engagement and event metrics for benchmarking and ROI to ensure program growth and effectiveness
Assist in the creation and execution of appeals
Work in conjunction with the Development Services Manager to maintain database accuracy
Review and edit all Development and Alumni relations communications
Perform administrative tasks to support the Development and Alumni Relations Office
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in alumni relations/development or related field
Knowledge of principles and best practices of development
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, and donor research tools preferred
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and moderate travel as needed
