Brandon Hall’s world-renowned Center for Global Youth Leadership and Social Entrepreneurial Studies is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and globally-minded educator to inspire youth ages 11-18 from all over the world in our programs. The ideal candidate is an “out of the box” thinker, dreamer, and doer who believes in the power of teenagers to change the world with their innovative ideas. The candidate will also possess an understanding of independent day, boarding, and global schools and the unique value proposition they offer students and families. This position includes room and board from June 12 - August 1. The successful candidate will be: · Highly relational, connecting warmly with parents, students, and faculty and adept at building strong relationships and partnerships on behalf of Brandon Hall to continue to grow and sustain a diverse and inclusive community; · Able to co-teach and co-lead workshops in cultural understanding, leadership · Assist the Director in planning, organization, execution and evaluation of a formal training program for summer camp counselors · Collaborate with various on- and off-campus resources and constituents in offering diverse educational, yet fun based activities and sessions to children enrolled in programs · Help manage the registration, orientation, check-in and check-out processes and logistics · Provide the highest level of customer service to parents, student staff and children · Uphold and “live” The Panther Pillars · Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies per Brandon Hall Safety Handbook · Drive and co-lead student field trips, in a school vehicle, per weekly program schedule · Responsibility for Program operations in case of Director’s absence · Recognize the intensity of a boarding program and adopt an “on-call” mindset even when you are off duty · Engage in regular staff planning and feedback sessions with Director of Summer Programs, Director of Residential Life, and Head of School
