Faculty - Middle School Science The Middle School is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach 5 sections of general science. This position will begin in August of the 2019-20 school year.

A successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in secondary science education or a closely related field with minimum three years teaching experience, preferably with middle school students. A sense of humor and a positive and ambitious attitude are highly desirable. Enthusiasm for working in a middle school environment, a demonstrated commitment to innovative pedagogy as well as the ability to thrive in a collaborative community that values creativity and independence in the classroom are all essentials. Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the use of current technology to enhance learning. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to teach multiple grade levels (6, 7, and 8); different subjects (biology, chemistry, physics and earth science) and be willing and able to assist in coaching events as part of the Science Olympiad team.
