The Executive Assistant works closely with the Head of School and the President. He or she manages internal, academic, and event calendars; acts as a liaison between the Head’s Office and faculty, parents, and the community; plans and manages details and logistics for major School events; and provides administrative support for school programs and projects. The Executive Assistant also supports other departments with strategic planning and implementation of initiatives that support the school’s mission.
Coordinate business communications and appointment schedule for the Head’s office.
Assist with faculty, administrative, and Board of Trustee meetings.
Manage student records.
Coordinate, create, and publish the Lion’s Tale weekly newsletter.
Assist with faculty recruitment, interviews, retention, and human resource issues.
Collaborate with departments to collect data and complete annual statistical reports.
Oversee collection of documentation for the PA Dept of Education.
Join administrators and school leaders in strengthening ties throughout the school community.
Aid in maintaining the Development Office database.
Perform other duties as assigned by and in support of the Head of School and President.
Bachelor’s Degree and experience in independent schools preferred
Excellent skills in communication, organization, presentation, and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain punctual, dependable hours and complete projects and meet deadlines without excessive oversight.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Constant Contact, WordPress, Raiser's Edge, and school management system
